Your Choice
Every day we have the CHOICE to either create or observe. We have the option to either daringly begin our creative journey – or to continue to think about how “someday” we can start. Well, start now. Creating provides you with self-fulfillment that no one can take from you. Equally important – creating inspires others.
“An artist is someone who brings new thinking & generosity to his work, who does human work that changes another for the better.” – Seth Godin
Art is supposed to make you feel. What you create can inspire someone else, and in turn make someone else CREATE. It is by all means exponential. Have you ever been around someone who is on a creative high and is fiercely excited about the project they have going on? Contagious would be an understatement.
Stick Together
I have purposely surrounded myself with those who chose the path of creating rather than observing. Creators of all kinds: artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, etc. They each provide me with motivation, inspiration and reignition of passion regardless of their trade.
As you know if you have taken the leap towards your passion, there are good days and not so good days. But ultimately, even on a bad day – if you take a step back and think about how far you have come you will be instantly gratified.
“Create the things you wish existed”
With your ideas and the never-ending possibilities of crowdfunding, we are blessed to live in an era where anything is possible. Check out this AWESOME Kickstarter campaign “ART AS WRENCH” from New York, New York.
Katherine Bernard is a prime example of someone creating what they wish existed… Katherine and her team “went through all of Jay Z’s discography in chronological order and pulled every fashion brand he mentions, then assembled them in a clean square, which all together reads like a symbolic autobiography.” Check out the t-shirt here!
