…about something you really freakin’ care about?
Recently started listening to Gary Vaaaayyyyyynerchuk from the first episode. Must. Hear. Them. All. If you don’t know, now you know.
I relate to Gary due to our short attention spans/high energy levels. Each episode pleasantly chaotic and saturated with wisdom. You ever feel like you have no one that relates to you? People sometimes can’t understand why on earth you’d spend hours and “after hours” on your work, and actually love it.
Well, Gary relates, he’s my new best friend and he doesn’t even know it. The best way to explain it is after an episode of #AskGaryVee – I feel like I could lift a 2 ton elephant while doing pirouettes.
Since Seth Godin is one of my mains, I had to skip to his episode (episode 184 or 185 – you’ll get the joke once you listen). Seth and Gary hit a topic I think is worth sharing. (approx. min 27)
“Not everybody is going to make great bodies of work…” -Gary
Not true…If you’re a caregiver, you’re capable of looking that person in the eye with empathy and affection in a way that changes them forever…I did nothing today, or I made something worthwhile.” -Seth
Ain’t that the truth. I’d prefer to make something worthwhile, wouldn’t you?
