If I were buying new shoes, would I just want a regular pair of new shoes, or would I want new shoes that I could TALK about..

Tom’s shoes has mastered this business concept. For every pair of shoes purchased, one pair of shoes is donated to a child in a developing country. This social-model has already allowed Toms to donate over ten million pairs of shoes to those in need thus far.

If you purchase a pair of Tom’s shoes, you are not just purchasing a pair of shoes. You are purchasing a STORY that you can talk about. A story with a good cause that can be told over and over again, exponentially. The most authentic, trustworthy and valuable form of marketing there is.
